to the granny driving on the 95 south bound this morning in the beat up acura sedan i apologize for needing to get on the freeway. did you not see the merging traffic? are you always in such a hurry? do you have a habit of taking on suv's?
granny, please take note: 1)you are not the only driver on the freeway in this town no matter what time it is. 2)it is not wise to take on a bigger car than you yours. 3)waving your arms like a wild woman does not change the fact that you need to let people in your lane when they properly signal. 4)with the way you drive it's no wonder your car looks the way it does. |

| do you know that old saying? |
there is a very old saying, "what comes around goes around", i have always believed this and today it rang true! last week a woman called me about flood insurnace and after doing a little research i told her that she was not in a flood zone and provided her proof because her mortgage company was pushing her to get a policy (or they would get one for her at the tune of $2,000 per year). she thanked me several times on the phone and i thought that was the end of it, until today when the mail came. i opened a really cute thank you card that had a $50 chili's gift card in it.
thank you terri, you are awesome. i hope you get the thank you message i left for you. |

| i think that i have found the secret to the las vegas dmv nightmare.....go first thing on a monday morning. i rolled into the dmv on flamingo and got in line at 7:45 this morning to register my new car. they promptly opened the doors at 8:00am and i was walking out with my registration at 8:27. CALL RIPLEY'S !! |

| fridays are always good |
so here it is friday again. the older i get the faster they come around, but then so do mondays :(. fridays are always good because we get the next two days off to relax and do what we want to do instead of what we have to do.
today is what i would call an up and down day...client with a 9:30 appointment cancelled after i rushed to get into the office to do some pre-appointment work, i go to the bank at 1:00 to sign for my HELOC, dr at 2:00 for results of lab work (yuck), dinner date at 6:30. my day is a total freaking roller coaster but IT'S FRIDAY! |

| i know, i know, it's been a while |
things have been so busy that i haven't had time to blog. but that is better than being bored to death! this year has started off with a bang and i have been pulling into work around 7:30am and working straight through until 5 or 6 in the evening. it dawned on me this morning that i am just getting too damned old for this 10 hour a day crap!
if i am so busy how am i writing this you ask? i had a client cancel which allowed me time to grab a bite to eat and write about being busy! |

| goodbye 05, hello 06 |
2005 was like a roller coaster for me; some highs, some lows, and definately a wild ride. new years eve was spent with my honey and was the most romantic ever!
2006 started with a hangover which turned into a bang when i bought this yesterday. i had to take my 2001 elantra into the dealership for a check up and just wanted to test drive this baby. the salesman told me i was going to fall in love and i DID! they gave me such a great deal that about three hours later i was driving my new little angel home!
i have decided that this is going to be the best year ever. it will be healthy, happy and prosperous. happy new year everyone! |
