| i must have been REALLY good! |
this holiday season has been GREAT! i got to spend an early christmas with my honey and he surprised me with a gift certificate for the spa. the following evening i spent with my best girlfriend, her hubby and kids opening presents and then went out to dinner with kath. christmas day was filled with presents from kath, tons of food and some great movies.
what more could a girl want? |

| it's that time |
| it's that wonderful time of year when most of us get to take a long weekend to make up for all of our really long hours of shopping, cooking and baking. so i will take this time to say Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and Happy Anything Else (that i may have missed). May you all have a safe and wonderful holiday season. |

| best comment ever |
| last night i sat watching 60 minutes because mike wallace was interviewing morgan freeman who is one of my favorite actors. they were talking about predjudice and mike wallace asked morgan what could be done to get rid of predjudice. morgan's response was a classic, "stop talking about it". I love that man! |

| cookies for the four legged |
since i am so into baking for the holidays, a couple of weeks ago kathryn brought me a cookie cutter that is shaped like a bog biscuit. i spent about two hours or so baking last night for my four legged friends and family members. yep, that's right, nothing but the best and all natural with low fat peanut butter!
i have mentioned it to a couple of people and they actually have shown an interest in buying them! |

| to sit in the comfort of my own office and have a hot bowl of soup that i just pulled out of the micro. i didn't have to go outside, start the car, drive somewhere, spend at least $5.....thank you kath! |

| and now a rave! |
| since moving into my new office, i decided to send out a holiday/i moved letter to my clients. by myself this would take several hours and probably not get completed until after the new year which would pretty much defeat the purpose. last week i had a client call asking if i had any part time work; she is single and just wanted out of the house for a few hours. BINGO! I spent friday and yesterday printing all of the mailing labels and the "letters", this morning my client came in to do the folding, stuffing, stamping. between the two of us we managed to take care of just under 500 letters in just over 2 hours! when i handed her a check and told her happy holidays i thought she was going to cry and she told me that she didn't expect to get paid, she just wanted a purpose. how awesome is that? |

| i'm sorry but i really need to say this |
| yesterday i was at the post office and the only two people speaking english were me and the person behind the counter. i do not mean to sound like a bigot and i normally do not consider myself a bigot, but damn it, this IS the united states and our language IS english. i have nothing against a person from another background or country speaking their native language but do it in your own home not out in public and very loudly. if you are going to live in this country learn to read, write and speak our language. thank you. |

| ok, it's done |
it's over and i am done, moving into my new office that is! the movers came just before 8:30am on friday and by 10 they had me moved into the new office. i spent a few hours emptying boxes and trying to put things away. saturday morning at 10am i met the phone man in the office so that he could hook up my phones, fax and dsl lines. i also moved in my computer and set it up and set up my voice mail again. after the phone guy left i took time to hang up pictures, etc.
got into the new office just after 8am today, it looks pretty good. i bought a small cube like table this weekend and got it put together this moorning, great for storage and to put magazines on. best of all, i only have two more boxes to empty! |
