| more chocolate |
i have just completed 10 dozen truffles; all hand made (five dozen were hand dipped in a chocolate coating), and three dozen molded chocolates. my feet and back are killing me since all of this took over four solid hours but it is well worth it. a little more candy making left to do and then sunday will be cooking baking day with kathryn.
when i think about it, it truly seems ironic that i can literally spend days making candy and cookies and then it takes people just a few minutes to scarf it all up, but i get the pleasure of making and giving and they get all of the calories! |
