| dinner and dancing |
| last night i had my ex over for dinner because he had agreed to take me dancing for the very first time EVER. I baked cornish game hens with a burbon glaze, sauteed squash and onions in a wonderful garlic butter and baked a loaf of fresh wheat beer bread. after a nice relaxing dinner we were off to the plaza hotel downtown to see this group. we got to the lounge about 20 minutes after they had started and were lucky to find two seats at the bar, not a single seat was available in the actual lounge. all i can say is wow! the music was great, we danced, laughed, talked with other couples and had a wonderful time. my only complaint is that their dance floor is way too small, we were like a can of sardines! |
