| ode to k-mart |
my oldest dog (banjo) takes medication for his blood pressure. the last time i needed his rx filled, the vet was out of the dosage i usually get (it had been on back order for about 4 weeks) and so i took the higher dose and had to cut the small pill into four pieces (usually ending up with 2 or 3 actually pieces and some powder).
i called for another refill this morning only to find out that they do not have the 2.5 mg pills in stock. i asked the vet tech to fax me a prescription for the 2.5 mg tablet and i took it to k-mart to have it filled (thank you kathryn for knowing i could do this). the vet charges me $19.90 plus tax for 60 pills and i just got the same amount from k-mart for $15.00 no tax. such a deal! |
