meetings |
i have been attending a weekly meeting on "vertical marketing". these meetings are to help me decide what types of specific people and/or groups to market insurance products to. in yesterdays meeting it was suggested that i start a page on facebook in order to help me connect with other professionals. i truly don't see the reasoning behind it, it seems to me that facebook would pretty much be like having this blog. am i wrong? |

Social marketing is the big new shiny toy. A lot of people think it is the future. We've done some experiments with it and none have resulted in any great success. If you're looking at obtaining more local clients through the net, having a simple website and using things like Local Business Center from Google have proven to be pretty effective.
