| there is just so much to do |
| i'm sorry if all i talk about is vacation, it's been so many years and i am so excited, it is all i can think about. so as of now i am only 21 days away from paradise. i got up this morning thinking that i have so much to do to get ready. kathryn sent me a copy of her packing list so i wouldn't forget anything, i had to call my credit card company on tuesday so while i had them on the phone i told them then that i was going on vacation and taking my crad with me so that they would not refuse any charges. i just finished making all of these calls: the vet (banjo is due for his shots and a check up), my hair dresser (my god i need a hair cut), my nail person (i am starting to look like edward scissorhands), my eyebrow girl (too much longer and i will resemble andy rooney). luckily enough i was able to get most of the appointments at a convenient time. gee, i wonder if i have time for a pedicure? and i still have to order our limo. |

| i can't believe it |
| i heard about this on the news this morning and just could not believe it. i waited 12 weeks for mine, what makes everyone else so special? if any one of you try this, i would suggest that you carry a copy of your application, your receipt (which will not show the entire cost of the passport), and a copy of your cancelled checks. stupid freaking bush and his cronies...ugh. |

| i heard this on the news this morning and just had to laugh. they probably sent her home because she was crying too damned much. i heard a report on tv yesterday that she even needed help making a collect call because the public pay phones were too confusing for her. boy, life is just really too tough for some people isn't it! |

| yummy with a twist |
| saturday night my honey and i were going to go out for dinner, he suggested either mexican or seafood, and i wanted to try this. i had the lobster lover's combo while jerome ordered the baja beach bucket and we each had a cadi margarita. all i can say is YUMMY!!!! the prices are actually pretty cheap when you consider the amount of food since most of the meals come with an all you can eat cesar salad bar AND all you can eat rice and beans. they bring out warm tortillas when you get your salad along with a spicy red salsa, tomatillo (mild) salsa and a chili honey butter (really yummy). you just have to try it:) |
